Coming Activities

Haha..

Through our conversation and suggestion from our great president, we have great responsibility for the coming activities...

Those activities are:
a. 29- 31/10: is our new exco 传承营, we hope everyone from us can participate and join them as a part of the camp... We may help them plan/ join their activities..
b. 30/10: Have a meeting for the 50th anniversary- PBUM history compiling group, if you are interested, please attend..
c. 1/1/11, is our gathering time for a trip to serendah (if the name not mistaken), haha.. Further detail of this activity is arranging by great president and Chee Wai.. Haha..

Haha.. Any how, any more detail of activities are welcomed to be posted to our blog, we will look into it.

Actually, this is for my reminder as I agree to join for above activities.. Haha

倒數12小時--迎接佛教的未來

暑假實習剛結束一個禮拜
如果說, 5月份是溫馨的季節 ( 母親節, 佛陀日 ), 那8月份也可以說是愉快的季節.
有的大學, 現在已經開學, 校內洋溢著迎新的氣氛. 以前在馬大, 這個時候有msk, 有foodstall, 有convo...
現在在台灣, 暑期也快結束. 法鼓山僧大正在準備迎接新生.
明天就是新生報到的第一天, 也是新生講習的第一天. 雖然新生講習- orientation week有許多工作要負責, 發現心確是踏實, 自在, 安定的. 雖然很忙, 心卻保持清楚. 想到明天會有許多善男子善女人來僧大報到, 選擇另一個人生, 心理就很愉快. 就算今晚也許要加班把手冊趕出來, 心卻不會因此而著急, 甚至起煩惱.
因為, 所做皆辦都不是為了自己. 這種感覺, 就是奉獻自己, 成就別人的喜悅. 成就他人的法身慧命, 比成就自己來的更重要.
更讓我感到歡喜的是, 僧團在9月份要舉行剃度典禮. 很歡喜看到又有人發心承擔如來家業, 看到有人發心要行菩薩道.
這種喜悅, 沒有以前在外面的虛浮, 而是多了一分的踏實.
願正法久住, 願佛法的慧命不斷.

Graduation thank you note

Dear Ex-Exco and buddies;

Thank you so much for your present, book title: The Joy of Living, by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche. This is a wonderful book where Mingyur Rinpoche has offerred us what may well be an essential link between the Buddha and contemporary neuroscience and physics.

We have not been meeting each other for so long, but I was glad that we are still connecting each other.

I look forward to reunion with you all, and wishing you can achieve true happiness and peacuful mind.

這是一本我在搭捷運到台北法鼓山德貴學院時, 在捷運上看完的一本書.
